Welcome - this tool will tell you the dpi you need to set your scanner at to ensure an attractive poster. Enter the dimensions of the image you are going to scan into the first two input boxes, and the dimensions of the poster in the second set of boxes. Hit SUBMIT and the calculator will show what what resolution you should scan your image at. You may use any units, as long as they are the same for each file (if you use inches for for the input dimensions, be sure to use inches for your output dimensions, too) This will only work with numbers - decimals are okay.
